# Current Year

The current year is **2322**. Although the war is officially over, in reality it has turned into a prolonged series of high profile assassinations, large-scale industrial sabotage and company espionage between the major mining companies. Combat droids that were deployed in the war and survived have been re-purposed into agents and bounty hunters.
