# 4. Train your droids

While training your droids is optional in the game, it can significantly increase their likelihood of success. Training is time-based and offered through training programmes, which consist of either 12 or 24 modules. Each module usually takes one hour longer than the previous module, e.g: **module 1 takes one hour to train, module 2 takes two hours to train**, and so on, but it can differ between programmes.

When your droid is training it can't do anything else (including missions), so pick your time wisely!

To train your droid, click the 'Training' tab on your droid's profile page, and pick a programme from the 'Recommended' list to get started.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.department77.com/department-77/guides/getting-started/4.-train-your-droids.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
